Down and Down Alternative Care

Regularly washing your zippered pillow protector and bed linens can help extend the life of your product and keep it fresh, fluffy and supportive.

Do not wash your down or down alternative product at home as it changes the density of the product. Your pillow, much like an article of clothing you wear every day for 7-8 hours a day, should last two to three years depending on how you take care of it.

If you feel the need to clean your product, we strongly suggest taking it to a professional dry cleaner that has experience caring for down or down alternative items.

Pillow Protector

It is important to take care of your pristine, sterilized down pillows, so be sure and wash the outside zippered protector and your pillow case (as often as your sheets). Machine wash warm to cold, gentle cycle. Do not mix colors, do not bleach or use fabric softener. If you need to spot clean, we recommend Oxyclean. Tumble dry low heat, remove quickly. Warm iron, if desired. May be professionally cleaned.

Keeping the protector and case clean will prolong the life of your down or down alternative product as well as keep it fresh, fluffy and supportive.
