Stuff your own pillow

Forget going out for a drink to relax. Try the Pillow Bar at The Pleasure of Home, 5224 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth, instead. The Pillow Bar, a free-standing kiosk, lets shoppers customize the fill, monogram and scent on 100 percent Hungarian goose down pillows. Here's how it works:
The kiosk, which looks something like a grandfather clock, is filled with goose down. The shell is placed in the kiosk, it fires up, and the down is blown into the pillow. At any point, you can pull out the pillow and test it for firmness. If it's not firm enough, toss it back in and add more fill.
The down is stuffed into 300-thread-count Super Nova Egyptian cotton, and that's placed inside another, monogrammed cover. The cotton, which only comes in white, feels silky and soft to the touch and has a pretty sheen.
Choose from six pillow sizes, from travel to a horseshoe-shaped side sleeper, and add a sachet in a scent like French Lavender or Martini Dreams. The pillows start at $70 and go up to $260, based on size.
