Pillow Bar Perfection
Paige Phelps
Dallas Morning News

I just wanted to let you know that after extensive product testing (two nights sleeping in my brand new, unfamiliar home) I have to tell you that the do-it-yourself pillows made from the Pillow Bar are really, really amazing.
Local Merrimac Dillon came up with the idea after spending night after miserable night in cheap motel rooms traveling to horse shows with her daughter. She just wanted a nice, custom pillow to her liking so she spent months inventing a machine that would allow a store salesperson to vacuum 650 fill power, Hungarian goose down (really light and fluffy stuff--not exactly easy to do) from Cloud Nine into a soft, Super Nova Egyptian silky pillowcase while the customer looked on--and touched-- the pillow they were creating.
Basically, you tell your Pillow Bartender "when" when you feel like your pillow is as soft or as hard as you personally like it. Then they zip it up, monogram it with your name (so you don't get it mixed up with your husband's perfect pillow, you know) and take it home. Oh yeah, you can also add a sachet of either fresh lavender or another scent Mrs. Dillon created she calls "martini dreams."
Anyway, it seriously only takes about 5 minutes to make one of these puppies and they would make lovely housewarming gifts (hint, hint). God knows my two favorite things on the planet are eating and sleeping and now sleeping has jumped to #1.
Find the Pillow Bar now at the Linen Boutique on Lovers Lane and by April 1 at Peacock Alley on Postal Way.
